1st Corinthians 2 ends with the phrase “ But , we have the mind of Christ.” (KJV)
If truly we have the mind of Christ then we will be able to say to the mountain “Move” and it will move.
We are asked to rise above situations and not be submerged by them, but we can only do this when we allow the Spirit of Christ in us to be in charge of our affairs. The Spirit is God, He knows us before we were born and knows the situation before we came to see it. He has the solution to every problem.
We cannot rely on our human wisdom to handle a situation that already seems annoying and sometimes overwhelming. Many times we have acted regrettably because we saw situations or challenges facing us with our human minds. We acted as the world would want or expect us to act, so we did not allow the Spirit of Christ in us to handle the situation. We failed ourselves and allowed Satan to rejoice, saying “Got you!”
We have the Spirit of our Lord and Saviour in us when we are right in His presence, when we try our best to live His words. He has accomplished all for us on the Cross of Calvary. So you have the right to claim the authority of Christ upon that situation by asking, “My Lord, what do I do,” then listen in prayer and the right solution will come to you in the spirit. It is not too late for you to take authority over that situation. Go down on your knees, pray, read the Word that is relevant to your situation and submit all to Him, who is the All Knowing God and He will reveal His mind to you in spirit and you will succeed, submitting to His Holy Will.
At times we do not know how to search for the Word. It is simple;
Turning to God in times of trouble is the best but the most rewarding is to be steadfast in prayer at all times. Doing this you are always led by the Spirit of Christ and not of the world. Then you are enabled to act with the authority of Christ over every situation or challenge because you have the mind of Christ ref. 1Cor 2: 16
In Christ take authority over your affairs this month, this last quarter of 2020 and be a Winner in Christ.
I have been thinking a great deal about my experience at Reconciliation this past Saturday. I felt an intense and unexplainable urge to go and confess my sins when I woke up that morning. I try to go every six weeks or so, but this was no routine visit to the priest for me. I needed to unburden myself of the numerous venial sins I had committed since I last participated in this Sacrament.

After salvation, many young Christians wonder if there's anything more to their newfound faith than just the security blanket of "being a Christian." When Your Faith Is Put to the Test - Bishop Barron's Sunday Sermon»
Friends, we come now to the Second Sunday of Lent, and we’re on both dangerous and very holy ground with the first reading from the twenty-second chapter of Genesis. The ancient Israelites referred to it as the “Akedah,” which means the “binding”: Abraham binds and is ready to sacrifice Isaac at God’s command.
